This project was
completed in five months. The cooperation of the owner's
store planners, design professionals and the construction
manager affected the parallel tasks of an extensive
municipal review/approval process with a fast track building
schedule.
The existing 130,270 sq. ft. building was completely gutted
and partially demolished. The addition of 50,400 sq. ft. of
space on two levels, new building facades, and a new mall
entrance completely enclose the existing structure. The new
main store entrance features a first-of-its-kind fiber optic
chandelier. This combined effort makes this project an
outstanding renovation.
The unique fiber optic chandelier received accolades from
the ICSC.
